We have had an a pleasant week. Our after school program is evolving with Pastor Browne at the helm. He is mentoring and directing the kids which seems to be something that helps the kids to focus better. Additionally with David Kleinknect mentoring and playing basketball after homework, it seems to bring about a more unified learning community. We praise God for that.

One of our youth had a challenge at camp. It was wonderful to see our son, CJ, stepping up to help resolve the issue. The parents, CJ and the youth decided the youth would face the consequences of his actions. After apologizing to the person he wronged and to their youth pastor, he said he felt better about making an apology and asking forgiveness. That in itself is maturity.

Sometimes we wonder if we are making any difference. We keep in mind that each of us are a work in progress and we thank God we can begin again each day.

In His Strength,

Pastor Joe and Gwynn Browne
