Orpah Full Life Restoration Inc., is a separate non-profit organization — named for the sister-in-law of Ruth (Ruth 1:4) — that was formed for the purpose of helping women in search of restoration to a more productive life. It was incorporated in 2004 as a respond to the evident desperation of homeless women in the South Los Angeles community. It wasn’t until 2007 that FICM seized the opportunity to begin our vision of providing hope to women from the community and local shelters. Activities under this organization include:

  • Computer classes
  • Quilting classes
  • Sewing classes
  • Financial management
  • Counseling
  • Exercise classes
All of these activities are steps toward building confidence of single moms and inspiring ladies to become more productive members of society.

The monthly women’s gathering is conducted by Gwynn Browne. Please consider sponsoring a meal, setting up the decorations for the month or leading a topic for encouragement of personal development. Contact Gwynn for more information at (323) 291-9636.
